The study looks into how communication apprehension in public speaking affects shs students in biã±an city. It identifies underlying factors that contributed to their public speaking anxiety. From this perspective, this study is led to determine the experiences of students’ language anxiety during class oral presentations. A convergent parallel mixed method was employed. Public speaking anxiety is increasingly prevalent among students, adversely affecting their academic performance, particularly in oral presentations and group discussions. Oral presentation could be adopted by students at diverse levels of education background. As such there is a scarcity of studies within the setting of polytechnic regarding this issue, therefore, this study aims to explore the level of public speaking anxiety among students in communicative english classes and to investigate if there is any. There are many possibilities for students not being able to present their papers. In public speaki g or speaking in front of the public, a person often experiences anxiety about failing to convey his me. This research utilizes observation and interview to explore more deeply about factors causing public speaking anxiety and students’ strategies to overcome it during oral presentation.
